NWEGG Delivery Plan, 2010-12

In response to consultation with organisations across the North West NWEGG is publishing its proposed Delivery Plan for 2010-12. As NWEGG is a membership based partnership the programme will be inviting councils, health organisations, police and Fire & Rescue services to either continue their membership or join.

Our Key Values: Efficiency and innovation in service delivery

To make efficiencies as a region we need to improve our ability to support each other through more peer working and review in open ways. This requires coordination and structure and identifying where good practice lies and what additional resources can be brought to bear.

The Delivery Plan 2010-12

NWEGG has set itself some ambitious targets for 2010-12 and to deliver against them we propose to work with members organisations through four improvement themes:

- Excellence in Service Redesign formerly Excellence in BPI but expanded to encompass increasing support requests and opportunities from wider service transformation initiatives.

- Excellence in Frontline Service Delivery formerly Excellence in Customer Services but again expanded to take into the account multi-channel service delivery and all aspects of frontline service delivery.

- Effective Information Sharing and Security focussing on enabling transformation through more effective use of information and ensuring that information is shared securely and effectively.

- Right Track North West (Excellence in Programme Management) aiming to improve efficiency and reduce costs within NWEGG member organisation by enabling the effective management of programmes of change.

The four areas are very synergistic. For example, some of the most significant opportunities for service redesign stem from better use of information and involve empowering frontline staff to resolve issues at first point of contact. The overarching theme is Right Track NW which encourages more effective and well managed change.
